So Much to Say
And so little time to say it. Mostly because things are on the stove. We have a few things done in the house now. The main bedroom is mostly done sans trim and refinishing the floor. Computer room/bedroom 2 next. Orlando is re-organized again but with the craft desk Chris made in there now holding tons and making more room. Along with 2 bookshelves. The pink room is still construction storage/shit explosion fun time. Bathroom is blue instead of primary green. Kitchen has had the cabinet doors removed which helps lots in there. Dishwasher was replaced last weekend. Wooo! Basement is still an unorganized disaster full of random webs still, but it could be worse. We’re ignoring the basement toilet for now…
Nail Secret Santa happened. Yay! First 3 are secret santa. Other 2 are presents from a couple other friends. :3

Busy Busy with Nothing at All
Yup, not a damn thing.
I mean, I did lots of things, just nothing in specific to make me forget about updating other than laziness.
Last March went to Disneyworld with my family in a group of 10. Hubby and I went to Disneyland in October with just my parents. Going to Land twice this year for their 60th and our 10th anniversary.
Doing some crochet, worked a bit on knitting. Did some drawing, even did a recent one for a friend of a gnat. Got into collecting a few stupidly expensive yet pretty dollfies. I have 4 now. 2 Super and 2 Minis. Learning to budget this year, and working on loosing weight and changing my diet after my Pre-Diabeties diagnosis in October. Broke 1k bottles of polish owned.
Started playing Final Fantasy 14 last September. Got the hubby into it in December-ish. He has the crafting and market playing bug and doing well at it.
Trying to clean the apartment randomly and begin house hunting again. If this lady ever contacts me…

Welcome to PEDOGEDDON 2: The PEDOPOCALYPSE
reddit is a social website that allows its users to share links to content on the internet and post comments about the links. This enables not only the sharing of content (photographs, videos, websites, and so on) but also the discussion of said content.
reddit is massively popular, especially with young people.
reddit is split into subcommunities known as “subreddits”, meaning that while reddit exists as a website, it consists as the sum of its subcommunities that people can subscribe to and participate in by means of sharing and commenting as aforementioned.
Unfortunately, the reddit community as a whole also harbors pedophiles and distributors of child pornography, including a man who goes by the name Tessorro and runs a subreddit called ‘preteen girls’
The main purveyor of child porn on reddit is Violentacrez, who was the former leader of the “jailbait” subreddit, before Anderson Cooper’s report got it shut down.

/r/jailbait is shut down now, but the traffic statistics posted by Violentacrez from its heydays are interesting. The dip in mid August is when admins temporarily closed the subreddit, and the spike on September 30th is when Anderson Cooper talked about it. The numbers after the temporary shut down are abnormally low, as would be expected. But prior to that, they were getting about 30,000 unique visitors each day.
The owners of reddit know there is active trading of child porn on their forums, and refuse to do anything about it. Further, Reddit’s cofounder simply dismisses the issue and blames the exploited children whose pictures are being traded.
The inaction of reddit’s administrators has been a frequent topic, part of that being Violentacrez’s shockingly close relationship with them. Violentacrez’s Twitter account seems like a good example of this. Krispycrackers (head of advertising and the community helpline at reddit), Hueypriest (reddit’s general manager), and Chromakode (developer) all follow violentacrez. So does Jedberg (former administrator), KeyserSosa (former lead developer) and MikeSchitraldi (another former developer type).
If you view their past tweets, you’ll see that Violentacrez has regularly been in direct, public contact with them.
In 2008, r/jailbait received the most votes in reddit’s “Best Community” contest, with SuicideWatch taking a distant second, receiving about half as many votes.
Another interesting fact is that Violentacrez has the third highest amount of karma on all of reddit for submitted links. Reddit can’t get enough of the guy.

What do we do with this?
The biggest, most important thing I can think of that you can do with the “Redditbomb”:
Reddit is hugely popular with people under 18, right? And Anderson Cooper may not revisit the story, the FBI may do nothing, gloom and doom, right?
Act Local. If you’re in America, I bet there’s 20 churches near your home. Each church could have around 100 CONCERNED PARENTS that go to PTA meetings and talk to other parents. Send the “Redditbomb” to local politicians and churches. Let them see that their children are using a website that exploits and sexualizes children.
You can send tips to the FBI all day (god knows I do), but I think a grassroots campaign could do wonders.
I think the smaller we start, the bigger it gets. Barely anyone remembers the Anderson Cooper story. But if a bunch of smalltown moms went on a crusade against a website that wants their precious angel to strip for their gross pleasure?
Do you know how BORING local news is? Can you imagine if your local news could run a “IS YOUR CHILD POSTING IN A PEDOPHILE WEBSITE? STATISTICALLY THERE’S AN 80% CHANCE!” story? They’d moisten their undies when they open the Redditbomb in their email.

Star Wars: The Old Republic
So, I’ve been playing this a bit in beta, and since launch. Now that my computer is worth a damn, I can actually enjoy playing it. So I joined up with some fellow goons started playing. I’ve also joined up with another group of goons on an rp-pvp server in a guild called “Oldlings”. To join, other than being a goon, your first character in guild must be an elderly jedi and play till you get your ship. So I made Sta’nah (too much Castle lately and I like her name), an old Jedi Consular at the moment. She’s probably going to go healer though not 100% sure what she’s going to do yet. Am thinking her back story, if asked, will be kind of like Shepard from Firefly. You know, pretty sure it wasn’t pretty but it was never explained by him in show. (I know about the comic book, just never read.)

Something Awful secret santa
My cute little haul from my santa, Urban Wizard. Some candy, a manicure set (the little red kit), an awesome Edward Gorey card, and polish. Orly wild wisteria & fantasea, China Glaze ruby pumps tiny bottle, lightning bolt crackle, and Pure Ice new lilac, naughty girl, & mint dream.
And unfortunately, the little kitten passed away yesterday at the vet as they were starting to treat her impaction. Chris picked her up this morning to take her out to the farm to bury her. She may have only been with us here for a couple days, but she was loved and snuggled the whole time. Even Chibi was interested in her, on her own terms.

I guess I just haven’t been feeling up to posting since Lupin & Sammy. Though I’ve definitely have been working. Did a blanket for Chibi as after Loopy as I realized she didn’t have one. Making a round ripple blanket at the moment. Been making scarves, a crab, little things.
Chris and I decided we’re going to look at what happened and come out with things we’re going to do more next time. More pictures is at the top of the list.
Well, going to add some pictures, update ravelry and then get some Star Wars: The Old Republic on for a while.

Neon polish and an Owl
It’s been awhile. Again. Nothing special has been going on with nails or even drawing. Randomly working on drawing ponies for a My Little Pony plan; Coming up with furniture my husband needs to make so we can have some room; and relearning crochet. Again. I’ve randomly tried to learn crochet through out my life, do it too tight and quit. Taught myself knitting once. So I now have a whole mess of needles, crochet & knitting, a bunch of books my mom let me have and a couple I’ve bought and a ton of patterns scavenged from across the interwebs. So far, I haven’t touched the knitting yet, that’ll come after I feel more comfy with crochet. I have made a few things to date: a lap blanket/dog blanket cause the Sammy loves it, an owl, and 3 scarves, which have all gone to the same friend since she likes scarves. They just work great for learning I think, which is why I picked up Learn a Stitch Create a Scarf. Currently, I’m making the first scarf in that.
I’ve also picked up a bunch of nail polish and am slowing down my buying finally. Grabbed a 7 box set of Color Club neon from T J Maxx for $10. As I was water marbling, I found out that they’re also scented. Color club is a brand that I’ve never had any problems using to water marble my nails. This time was just filled with a strong grape smell on top of it all.
Time for some pictures! All crochet is done with red heart colors from years ago, as it was scavenged from mom. The owl is a multicolor pink, blue and white. The blanket is a multicolor purple, green and magenta. The current scarf is made of 3 colors, thus allowing me to work on long double crochet and changing colors, dusty rose, green and blue.
